About me
With so much love to give the world, it’s only fitting that Cosette L’Amour was blessed with a heart-shaped face. She is “en amour avec amour” (in love with love).
Cosette believes in the philosophy that love is all around us, just waiting to be enjoyed, and is passionate about expressing this love through dance, song, and performance art. With a strong background in movement, dance and music, she studied the art of Burlesque with San Francisco based legend, Bombshell Betty, and began performing in early 2011. Cosette is eager to begin teaching classes of her own, and will soon be offering a 1960’s Go-Go dancing class, as well as a core-strengthening for Burlesque class at Betty’s studio. Watch for information on both of those, coming soon.
When Cosette is not choreographing or costuming, you can sometimes catch her swimming in the fishtank at Bimbo’s 365 Club, where she performs as Dolphina. In her free time, she likes to keep her creative juices flowing by staying involved in cultural and community-based activities, or supporting fellow friends and entertainers around town. She adores maintaining an active social life with a menagerie of colorful people, and considers everyone a friend. She is quickly becoming known as the girl with the heart-shaped face.
