I'm an artist / photographer / designer / curator / nail polish enthusiast who lives in the Irish almost-countryside with my lady fiancée and squishy Staffordshire Bull Terrier.
I regularly tend to persistent inclinations towards photography, digital media, design and installation and I am also a member of an all female & entirely lovely artist collective called the Bunny Collective - http://bunnycollective.com and the founder of a photography blog & magazine called 'a secret' - http://asecretmag.com/
At the core of my personal creative practice is an obsession with perception. Self-perception, sensory perception, identity and experience all play a vital role in what motivates me artistically. If it has to do with how we perceive or try to perceive something then chances are I'm into it.
Body autonomy and body image are also key areas of exploration in my work as well as questioning the way the female body and image is both portrayed and consumed – particularly in digital and virtual settings.
I do my best to make art stuffs around a full time web design job and part time magazine running show. I'm always looking for patient open minded models who are up for creating some interesting photos. Anyone in the Cork area that is willing to work for prints is welcome to get in touch - I'm always working on something.
