I began with photography in 1999 at the very beginning of the digital revolution in photography. I first tried my hand at underwater photography, but after several failed attempts at capturing any images worthy of showing even to my friends and family I decided to enroll in photography classes. After one of my very first images from class was showcased at a local museum, I was hooked!
Living life as an "artist" was a significant departure for me. Prior to making the leap to become a photographer full-time, I spent several years working in the corporate world. And before that I spent three years playing professional football (Quarterback), bouncing around with teams in the NFL and Arena Football League. My professional football career was short... there were probably locker room towels with careers longer than mine.
But, it is when I have a camera in my hand that I feel most complete and true to who I am. I love what I do and I love sharing photography with others. The creative process inspires me. I believe there is no greater reward than to capture a person's image and for that person to tell me how they view themselves in a more positive light because of that image.
When I'm not doing photography sessions in my Florida studio or in other cities, I will often volunteer my time as a photographer to worthy charities. Beyond photography I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family and friends.
I very much look forward to the opportunity to photograph you and I hope to be your photographer for years to come.
