My name is Risa Fox, I am a Multi Published Professional Model and Photographer from Syracuse, New York. I have been modeling and doing photography, as well as retouching/creative photo editing since 2010.

I have been Published numerous times(20+) in Print and Video, Locally and Internationally. I have been shown in multiple galleries for my modeling, photography, and art. Additionally I have been in 5 Runway Events, 4 of which I was the main focus/performer, 1 of which I guest designed and created 2 outfits for. Im behind the camera as much as I am in front of it. I know exactly what goes into creating an image, from the lighting, angles, framing, camera specs and editing techniques, to hair, makeup, costume design, and posing. I try to use communication as effectively as possible so that we can bring whatever you are seeing in your head to life. I am regularly sought after by Photographers that trust me to style and model entire concepts either conceived by myself, themselves, or in combination.

I require a 25% booking deposit to secure a day/time in my calendar unless stated otherwise in our communication. I accept Paypal, Cashapp, and Venmo. After I confirm availability for the date/time you are requesting I will send you a deposit invoice via email. I do not offer refunds for cancellations as they are a waste of my time and my time is very valuable. I am always willing to reschedule and prefer it over a cancellation. This way you dont lose your deposit and my time isnt completely wasted. In the case of me cancelling the shoot I will offer a full refund. That being said, It is extremely rare for me to cancel. Hasnt happened in years, and has only happened due to unexpected medical conditions.
I am not accepting TFP unless I feel you offer something new and unique to my portfolio OR I have contacted you about a TF Project.

A good camera does not make a good photographer. A sexy image does not require nudity.

I have a hip hop/ballet en pointe/ribbon background in dance which I apply to my modeling to achieve graceful, flexible, and unique poses. I like to take on a new character or concept with each different outfit or location and have been called a shape shifter by many Photographers, Artists, and friends.
If you look at my work as a Visual Artist you will see that I live very vividly. I am most used to shooting on location but have a lot of experience in studio as well. I am no stranger to subjecting myself to the elements to achieve amazing images. Repeatedly photographers have told me that I just "naturally know" how to pose and do what they want from me before they even have to ask. But don’t get me wrong, I love taking direction on shoots as well because this is a collaborative process between both of us to create something amazing. Every shoot is a new opportunity for growth for both of us.

I am also a licensed cosmetologist/ hair stylist with salon, photoshoot, dance recital, talent and fashion show experience. Hiring a H/MUA is not necessary when working with me but Im always open to having other H/MUA's work on me, I love to experience other artist's work in all their forms. Its why I cant seem to choose a side of the camera to stay on.

Other Things to know about me;
- I own a large costume and wig collection and have an endless list of props, costumes, and locations to work with.
- My hair is mint green and the length is to my waist currently. I could wear extensions for a photo shoot if requested and supplied.
- I'm 5'1" but very proportionate for my height.
- I am moderately Tattooed. The list is always growing. If they are something you believe will effect our shoot please ask. I am willing to cover or camouflage for projects dependent on rate/theme. I collect Art on my body. I have been told by Fine Artists and Photographers that my Tattoo collection is well conceived and works well even in Fine Art settings. My career outside of Photography is the Tattoo/Body Modification Industry and I value Quality over Quantity in any and every setting.
- I have my Bridge Pierced and a variety of ear piercings. Anyone that thinks that piercings and tattoos arent “high-class” havent met me. This is yet another common comment I get from Photographers and fellow Fine Artists alike.

I am available for travel dependent on project/rate offered.

I will bring an escort to all shoots, though that doesnt mean they will stay. If you do not respect that we will not work together. My escorts I bring will not become involved in the shoot and often leave as soon as they know I am safe unless you are comfortable with them staying around.
