About me
My name is J-Rae. I am an internationally renown and published full-time professional fashion and horror photographer based in San Diego. I am a serious entrepreneur. Most people book me for gory, horrific, terrifying, dark, and R-rated photos (but I can be happy too). I also get booked for artistic and high-fashion shoots, and I have experience with commercial fashion. I have been a professional photographer since 2008, but I've been a hobby photographer for as long as I have been able to hold a camera. Recently, I've been getting into the field of teaching and have a book on lighting techniques available for purchase.
I have lots of experience with portraits, and am here looking for serious models or aspiring models. Please don't stand me up!
I joined Model Mayhem not only as a business networking tool, but also to help people when I can. I may not always be able to do trade work, but I do make a point of significantly discounting rates for clients contacting me via this site.
Complimentary tear sheets come ready for the web and sized to 6"x9" resolution 100 pixels/inch and watermarked. This is the exact same format I use for posting the photos on my own sites to include Model Mayhem, Flickr, Facebook, Google+ and my own website. I do not give away high-res prints to trade clients, nor do I post them online, but I have them available for sale. I generate tear sheets of the best shots taken, which can be a decision between both of us. Most people decide they would rather let me pick the best shots, but others like to be involved in the process. If you want one hi-res watermarked image to print for your portfolio, I will do that for trade clients. Photos will be delivered over email or on a CD.
