I'm on an extended break from photography, thanks very much for requests to work together but I'm off learning and experimenting on my own for a bit.


I'm a photographer who wishes he could paint. My work is primarily darker themes (melancholy, surrealism, fear, etc) with heavy post-processing and occasionally mixed media.

I'm looking for models and designers to work with. Photography is not my day job, but I still take it seriously. I'm on a limited budget so I can offer only TF. I like telling stories or creating moods, so anything that helps achieve that is on. Natural, interesting or unusual faces and body types are great, as is some acting ability or willingness. Age, height, weight, race etc are highly irrelevant.

Just to give you an idea of where I'm coming from, my influences are mostly music (post-rock, old death metal, soundtracks etc), movies, and painters (Beksinski, Giger, Ashley Wood, Travis Smith, etc), and not so much modern pro digital photography.

If you have ideas of your own I'm open to collaboration. Just note,

I generally don't :
- do deep sub-genre stuff like latex, goth-alternative, fetish, etc. A bit here and there is fine, but not the entire photo.
- do nudes or even lots of skin unless it helps tell a story.
- like color, unless we're talking about black, black is the best color ever.
- give out RAWs or other unprocessed images (apparently some models ask for this as part of TFP, I sort of understand why, but I'm not happy handing them over).

There you have it. Don't be shy, I'm actually pretty easy going despite my images being mostly dark, and I won't go all Lars von Trier on you or any weird crap like that.
