About Me

*** UPDATE***
Darcy has recently won a Leo Award for Best Hairstylist in a Motion Picture for the film Eadweard. You can find her on the cover of the November 2015 issue of Reel West Magazine

Award winning British Columbia native Darcy Burns found her love for art at a very young age. “I can remember stealing my mother’s or sister’s makeup and loving the colours and textures,” says Burns as she looks back at her first makeup memories. “I loved how i could use my hands and play with everything and there were no limits.” A motto that she still sticks to today.

Her Mission Statement? To achieve looks artistically, creatively and successfully through the art of makeup while meeting customers needs for superior quality service.

NOTICE****** I am VERY professional when it comes to my work and I do expect the same from the people I work with. Organization is very important! I do not put up with flakiness and/or bad attitudes. I am MORE than happy to promote those that I work with.
