I mainly do live shoots of bands*, take pictures of wildlife and do some family portrait type work (the latter simultaneously being the least interesting and best paying!), but would like to do more work with models.
I have the technical skills, but need far more practice at setting up proper shoots; I have far more of a "journalistic style" and am used to just shooting what's happening in front of me rather than setting up the scene. As such I need far more practice at the latter. It also means I'm happy to work with the model to get the types of shot they want. Most of the material in my portfolio has been with friends where we just arrange a time and place, they turn up wearing something they like, and we just take it from there!
