Milan Sabata

My name is Milan Sabata and I am a Czech born photographer. For the last 26 years I call Los Angeles my home.  "L.A.Weekly" magazine describes me as "thick-necked, soft-spoken..." So be it. My work ranges from High Fashion to Fetish to Artistic Nude Photography.

I am lucky to be busy so I am selective who I work with. I don't mass-produce. I conquer one concept at a time. I don't follow rules and predictable stuff bores me to death. Expect something different.

My photography is all about creativity and execution of original concepts. I don't study other photographers as I don't want to pollute my imagination. I prefer to work with natural beauty rather than manufactured one. I pay close attention to details. I often use simple props methodically arranged with my models. I like to pose my models in unusual poses and/or shoot them in unusual locations.  I do my own styling and prop placement. I seldom use men but when I do I use them as props only. My work almost always includes nudity so you have to be willing to do full nudes. I won't work without signed model release form.

I am looking for open-minded models who are comfortable with their bodies willing to perform without inhibitions in order to bring my ideas to life.
