**UPDATE: I have been away from MM for a while - was working full time in a portrait studio, honing my skills and learning A LOT. I have now completed renovations in my own studio - I will primarily be doing portrait work, but cannot leave my love of fashion photography behind, so will still want to be collaborating with amazing talented individuals to satisfy my creative urges! If you have any exciting projects in mind, please don't hesitate to contact me. I am looking to do mainly studio work at the moment, but still interested in some location work.
My name is Emily and I am a 24 year old freelance photographer based in Melbourne. Upon completing a Visual Arts/Photography degree in 2012, I started my own business and career as a photographer.
Although I have lived in Melbourne my whole life, I still find this city an endless source of inspiration for my photography. My specific area of interest is predominantly fashion photography (editorial, commercial, lookbook etc.), I find it to be the intersection of art and advertising. I also create photographs for art’s sake, which allows me to experiment with different techniques and media.
My aim is to expand my portfolio and acquire more regular work. I am now ready to surrender my life to photography and take advantage of any opportunity that comes my way.
