About Me

I have quite a bit that I still have to learn as a model; however, I'm definitely "pretty" experienced (*that* should be an option!). But as with *everything*, I'm learning, growing, and evolving every day...

You will find working with me to be a real joy, as I'm not your average model - I'm always pleasant, and my demeanor is very friendly and accommodating - oh, and I ***love*** to laugh (and make others laugh!) - however, I'm very professional and I know exactly what I'm doing. I can hold pretty insane poses for lengthy periods of time, and I'm very expressive, something that comes through in my photographs.

All of that said, I am no longer able to work without any monetary compensation -- it's really a time investment thing, among several other factors, for me.

Background & Personality

Ethnically, I'm 100% Palestinian Arab, although I'm American born (first generation); subsequently, the adjective most frequently used to describe my appearance is "exotic." Although I was born Muslim, my beliefs are longer deistic or even spiritual, really; nonetheless, my cultural heritage *does*  still play an enormous role in my life.

True to my cultural upbringing and Semitic nature, I'm often told that I'm a *very* intense person; yet I'm simultaneously quite cognizant of the fact that one should never take themselves or life too seriously. As far as tangible character traits go, I've been described as very sexy, highly intelligent, very articulate, and both an air of sophistication as well as having an especially multifaceted nature. Incredibly adventurous and open minded, I'm truly an ambitious woman with a very strong sense of loyalty.

I’m an *extremely* outgoing person, tending to be the "life" of any party I'm at, but my "outgoingness" is always coupled with the utmost class. I present myself well, carrying myself as an extremely polite, well-spoken young woman with impeccable manners and an expansive vocabulary.

Music: I'm a HUGE music lover with a broad range of tastes. However, I generally enjoy these genres the most:

Modern Metal (Faith No More, Type O Negative, Queens of the Stoneage, etc... metal's many sub-genres are probably my favorite), hardcore (Deftones, System of a Down, Queens of the Stone Age, etc...), rock, prog rock/metal (Tool, Opeth, Porcupine Tree, Katatonia, Orphaned Land, 30 Seconds to Mars, Storm Corrosion, Radiohead, etc... words cannot adequately express my love for this sub-genre), indie (Soap Kills, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, MGMT, Ravonettes, Arcade Fire, Noisettes, etc...) psychadelic (Can, Silver Apples, Pink Floyd, etc...) punk rock/grunge (Nirvana, Pixies, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, etc...), alternative (Sublime, 311, Eels, Blur, Coldplay, Incubus, Dispatch, Foo Fighters, Garbage, Veruca Salt, etc...), dubstep (Nero, Datsik, Skrillex, Eskmo, etc...), trance (Andain, Tiesto, BT, M83, etc...) house (Deadmau5 and Kaskade, etc...), d&b (Pendulum, Chase & Status, Logistics, etc...), trip hop (Tricky, Massive Attack, Sneaker Pimps, etc...), electronic (Zero 7, Air, Hooverphonic, etc...), singer-songwriter (or, as my friend Jeff refers to it, "Angry Lesbian Music" - Tori Amos, Fiona Apple, Eva Cassidy, Miss Li, Sia, Bjork, Poe, etc...), industrial (Fear Factory, Nine Inch Nails, etc...), avant garde (think Mr. Bungle, Cardiacs, and Stolen Babies...), hell, ***Mike Patton ANYTHING***, various 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s (The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Janis Joplin, Joni Mitchell, Elvis Costello [preeminent lyricist], The Beach Boys, Fairport Convention, Eric Clapton,  Uriah Heep, Supertramp, Yes, Led Zeppelin, Queen, Elton John, Billy Joel, one Oingo Boingo album, etc...), modern pop and a little bit of modern R&B (Lady Gaga, Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, M.I.A., Lauryn Hill, etc...), 90s R&B (TLC, Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey, Boyz II Men, Shai, etc...)  SOME Arabic music (Soap Kills, Fairuz, Le Trio Joubran, etc...), ONE rap artist (Dessa -- I usually hate rap, but Dessa's different), and two jazz artists (Esperanza Spalding and Flying Lotus). *gasp*

Yes, I know some of the artists I listed would arguably fall into several/different genres, and the aforementioned list of artists is by no means exhaustive (my music collection encompasses well over 500 albums), but that should give anyone an indication of the kinds of music I like.

Oh, and almost forgot to mention (groove salad, etc...), Spotify, Pandora (the comedic stations!), and Shoutcast.
