I'm a model and a self taught photographer/retoucher. I believe that it doesn't matter what kind of equipment you own, how many years of experience you have and if you got your degree in Photography. If you have NO VISION then pretty much nothing of the above can help.
I'm an old school person and I wish i lived in the 80s! I adore vintage everything and i started shooting with an old solid built 35 mm film camera and lens made back in the days in USSR. Starting out with film camera really makes you think if you need this shot or this exact angle or it's better no make some changes or not shoot it at all. All you have is 36 frames and you don't know what you get until you develop the film and scan the negatives. Using manual film camera makes you think PERIOD, you are in full control of your settings. I truly believe that if digital technology disappears right now and all we have is film most people would be out of the photography business. I admire those who went the hard way and really can appreciate what digital technology can offer. Those who don't let the camera do all the work but who THINK, CREATE and EXPAND their knowledge. Photography is such craft that you never stop learning and it never gets boring. And if it does.. oh well you already know! Having said all that i'm not against digital world at all, it's amazing to me that we can see an image right away and make necessary adjustments and... and... :) Although most of my work you see here on my MM page is film.
I have been doing street photography for a while and now i'm shooting fashion/editorial. I also do hair/makeup and styling if necessary.
Being a model for years i know much about the art of connection with a camera and i can direct the model well. I believe that natural light exists to help create the most beautiful images. Natural is always beautiful. Different is beautiful. I'm sick and tired of average. I'm not just taking a picture, I'm penetrating your soul.
I'm looking to collaborate with industry professionals with creative vision so everyone can benefit from working together. I'm putting my 100% into anything I do and expect the same from people I'm working with. Let's make it happen!
