Hi, thanks for looking. I'm part owner of Bright Lights Studio, a modern well equipped studio just outside of Nottingham and Derby, close to the M1 with great links across the country. I got in to photography about 12 years ago and have always had an interest since then. About 7 years ago I started doing model shoots with the intention of getting great at portraits.

I love playing around with modern lads mag style shots as they show the fun and vibrance of photography. I like a little fashion but while a good one looks great, I've just seen so many bad photos.

My pet hate is photoshop. I love the programme and I spend hours in it, but I hate lazy photographers who have given it a bad name. A quick 25% desaturation and call it a fashion shot, or even worse is skin blurring so much that you're lucky if you can still make out nostrils let alone a nose.

I do a little photography with models, but the majority of my work is in the studio with families. When I do get an opportunity I want to try out new styles and experiment. I regularly organise glamour nights for photographers in the area and am always on the lookout for new faces as well as a few familiar ones.

I joined model mayhem to network, to find people in my area who I like the look of and think I could make great images with.

Looking in particular at the moment for models to work alongside building and promoting websites.
