About me

Hey Everybody... I'm Sam owner/lead photographer at STB Photography... I have been working as a photographer since 1999 but have had a camera in my hand since i could walk... photography is literally my life... i live & breath it... from doing the modeling photos that end up on here in a cycle to the live music shows & events i shoot... this is what i do 7 days a week & i love every second of it

i'm interested in expanding my skills/portfolio with new & edgy ideas... which is why i joined MM... i do very little editing to my photos because honestly... my camera is like an extension of my eye & because i took the time to learn how to set it up properly for the shoots i'm doing very little actual editing is necessary

i really enjoy shooting outdoors but as minnesota has an extremely long & cold winter i have gained access to a few studios across the twin cities which i will be utilizing as much as possible in the coming months

at this stage in the game i work like this... if you approach me for a shoot... i expect to be paid... not always a lot if i like the concept but something... so don't be shocked or offended when i ask about monetary compensation... i'm just like everyone else on the planet with bills & expenditures... i truly look forward to hearing from you in the near future
