Looking through my lenses always brings me a great deal of joy. The world of art, generally, is a box full of possibilities. That is why I chose photography to show you how I see the world around me.
Just as any other art direction, painting, acting or dancing, photography can give me a myriad of choices. It gives me the possibility to be in as many different moments that life, perceived as a play in the theatre, can give me.
It’s like a great playground for the child that lives in me. To make the past alive again, the present more beautiful or future realistic, becomes an interesting task for me to playfully fulfill. Any art direction or life situation can be made completely vivid even through a single photo. I can free myself and follow the magic that takes me into another world.
Through all these moments I have found a way to have fun and live this never ending astonishment that brings with it the feeling of great satisfaction. This side of the camera presents a profoundly different perspective of many life situations. To work with people is not an easy task. Yet it can be a truly interesting one.
Every segment of the expression of this art, such as studio photography, creating memories of weddings or birthday celebrations is a challenge in itself.
Any one of them can give me an interesting story, more likely than not without a script I can follow. As the challenge is greater, so is the opportunity, and the harder the task, the greater the joy of successful accomplishment.
Positive energy and interaction between me and the people I work with or the space I am in, provide great photos for me in return. Often, people want to know if the model is as pretty in real life as it is on the photograph. I always say that, in each one of us, exists a tremendous beauty, and the photographer’s task is to find it and revive it using the right angle and a simple game of light and shadows.
