My purpose for being a member of Model Mayhem is to find models willing to pose both nude and partially nude for long periods of time. I paint in oil with the intent of selling the paintings in art galleries. I work both from the live model and from reference photographs of the model which I take. Some poses require the model to pose on several different days for as long as 6 hours including rest breaks. My paintings of nudes have won various awards in juried art competitions. I take my work seriously and work approximately 9 to 5 Monday through Friday. I work in a studio which is part of my home in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
