About me

My name is Scotty. I began shooting with a twin lens reflex. I studied photography in college, where I learned how to develop and print color and black & White. When the dslr camera began to over take the print/ film camera, I quickly jumped on board and bought one for myself. I've gone through both Canon and Nikon dslr's. I like them both, even though I currently shoot with a Nikon.
I've photographed everything from weddings to children, fashion runway shows to portraits both in the studio and outdoors in natural light.
I am proficient with studio strobes and hot lights. Learning the 3:1 lighting ratio from the print/film camera days have helped me quite alot. I'm a fill-flasher.

From the Model Mayhem site, I would like to meet models of all styles for shooting. I also believe that learning is a lifelong challenge, so meeting photographers and MUA's to learn their tricks of the trade is also a goal.
