I caught the photography bug when I was about 10, when my father bought an Asahi Pentax. Soon after that, I was processing my own film, in my home-built darkroom, which eventually led to my pursuit as a Yearbook Photographer for my High School. My growth in the field has continued to grow since. At times I will combine all my disciplines of interest, by experimenting with long exposures, light-painting, and time-lapse photography.
While I am a techie, with an Engineering & Psychology background, my real passion is the arts; to create visual art which appease the senses. My end-goal is to create art which is evocative. For me, it is all about the art & emotion aspects; the photograph is only the medium, the means to an end. A priority, when creating such art, is to establish relationships with the people that I work with. It’s a part of the connection-building process. We meet, we work together, and we part as friends, sharing common interests & goals.
Occasionally I do TFP work, but I am very selective to whom I work with. I am always after a certain look & feel from my photography; I don't shoot, just to shoot. However, if the model and I can mutually gain something from the shoot, I will entertain the idea of a shoot.
Otherwise, I charge modest fees, and I offer a few different packages, which may be viewed here: www.AspiringToBeAModel.com
Escorts are welcome, if you desire (they might be put to work as assistants). Any music that you prefer is helpful, it gets us in the right mood for the shoot!
