My approach to photography is simple: “If it’s there, shoot it!”
My name is Khaled Termanini and I am a professional commercial photographer based in Dubai, UAE. My experience ranges from concerts, band photography, fine art, automotive and family portraiture to still life, fashion and glamour, location photography and weddings. I’ve also done a lot of documentary and street photography in Damascus, Cairo and the UAE. In short, I have the ability to work with all types of people, subjects and environments.
I have also been teaching photography since 2007 at a beginner to advanced levels. In 2012 I took on the opportunity to teach photography at a university level at the American University of Sharjah.
I’m true to the art and professionalism of photography. At a commercial level I shoot digital but above all I’m a big advocate for shooting, developing and printing film. It slows me down and makes me think twice before releasing the shutter. This is one of those aspects of photography that may be dying in the market, but will always be a part of my photography journey.
