I'm here because I shoot photos, paint backdrops, body paint, and make other experimental props for photo shoots.
Here's the current project I'm working on http://www.flickr.com/photos/alexmcadoo/sets/72157640156254734/
This series of work was developed as my reaction to always hearing people these days say things like "I love all this new Street Art stuff but I hate all that Graffiti." This is my attempt to show society that the Graffiti style, which is possibly the most important American originated visual art style ever, can harmonize with what everyone defines as beauty; the female figure, flowers, marble statues, shiny things.. etc.
Furthermore this project also takes into consideration the age-old issue of the male gaze on the female figure. I want to show that women's bodies are not just something for men to stare at; they are powerful forms able to influence people's opinions.
Feel free to message me if you're interested in collaborating.
I'm also interested in collaborating with other photographers.
