The name is Cam Grays and I am a young, upcoming fine artist and only ONE artist who's starting from scratch. I'm 22 years old and still working to complete art school. You're never to young to follow your dreams and that's why I'm here.
Fine art is my life. It's my heart and soul and look up to many artists from the legionary Leonardo Da Vinci, to the courageous Spencer Tunick. My art, personally, is basically just what I feel. I follow my heart and vision and let it flow along the paper or canvas and my mediums are drawing, acrylic, and watercolor. I've dabbled in a tiny bit of photography but these days, if I ever pick up a camera, it'll probably just use it to snap reference pictures to draw from.
My ideal model...well I much rather call them "muses". My ideal muse is is only one word: REAL. This means I am NOT shallow so if you tell me you need to work out more JUST to appear in my work, I just can't speak to you. This mold of what society calls "perfect" does NOT exist in my world. It does NOT matter how you look. It matters if you are HAPPY with how you look. Ladies, I'm NOT gonna enhance the size of your boobs. Fellas, I'm not gonna enhance the size of your genitals. If you're full figured, if you're old, if your short, hell if you have a dead conjoined twin attached to your back, you are already perfect to me. :) Just give me some time to get the right vision, because my concepts and poses are to work well with each model's features and their body shape.
Oh, and I mostly draw male models because I'm all about male empowerment, and empowering men of all shapes and sizes... but ladies, don't feel left out, I also like to evoke female elegance in my work as well.
Just know that if you're interested in modeling for me I WILL do a background check on you. (This is the internet afterall)
Oh, and forgive me if my comments ramble too much. lol I comment on the most inspirational people. Those who would spark an artistic vision at the drop of a hat. So I break down features and stuff. hahaha
and I would PREFER a tag or a message or something if you're gonna friend me, but I guess friend requests are appreciated.

LONG DISTANCE MODELING
I use this alternative for models who live to far away to model live. I got to do this with models all over the world and many of them are still great friends.
There's WEBCAM ART MODELING where models pose for me via Skype OOVOO or Yahoo! Messenger. It's just like ordinary figure drawing session like an art school except it through a webcam and the model is actually posing for the WHOLE drawing so they must be able to hold the pose for a very long time but breaks will be given.
and then there's this technique I call "COPY THE ART DUMMY". It's easy. I email the model a few pictures of my plastic artists dummy and send it to the model. Then they photograph themselves mimicking their favorite poses, send the photos to me and I draw it. Simple as 1 2 3.
