I consider myself the modern all-American girl. Although I was born in Indiana and consider myself a Midwesterner, I spent three years in Japan as well as attending high school in Virginia. I have traveled to 22 countries and have been to 5 continents. Traveling is not only a passion of mine; it’s a way of life. I studied in Spain for four months as a junior in college and lived with a woman who didn’t speak a word of English. Because of these experiences I am comfortable in any situation and believe I can find something in common with anyone.
I am a fast learner but also have a strong work ethic, which I applied to my education. I graduated Cum Laude from DePauw University in May 2012 with a BS in Economics and minor in Spanish. While in my undergraduate studies, I did a six-month internship in Global Marketing at Eli Lilly and Company. While I enjoyed school and this work experience, I also pursued my passion of entertainment. I worked as a sportscaster at my college radio station and won the title of Miss Indiana USA in November of 2011.
As a recent college graduate I am eager to pursue my dreams. In fact, I was unable to walk in my college graduation because I was competing at Miss USA. During the three weeks I spent in Las Vegas doing interviews, events and photo-shoots, I reaffirmed my passion of being in front of a camera. I am interested in pursuing modeling, acting or hosting opportunities; including sports broadcasting.
