As an artist, I have been creating photographs for the
past 30 years. My evolution as an artist parallels my
professional development. In the past, I had darkrooms both at home and work. Today, I use my digital camera and
Adobe Photoshop in both locations.
I hope to share with the viewer a sense of wonder of the natural
world and of the beauty that surrounds us, sometimes found in
the most unexpected places.
Much of my early work was in black and white photography, and I became skilled in the art of the darkroom. In my work for the government, I was an early adapter to the computer and the digital age. My current work requires preparing images in electronic formats for displays, presentations, web sites, and publications. I am skilled in Adobe Photoshop and use it as my modern darkroom.
I enjoy the challenges posed by new techniques and technological developments in photography.
I am a member of the National Association of Photoshop
I am Webmaster and Newsletter editor for The “Frederick Camera Clique” a photography club in Frederick MD.
I have been in love with photography since the first time
I picked up a camera. Every time I wander out with my
camera it’s an adventure. I enjoy capturing unique
colors, patterns, reflections, and light.
It is my hope that my images speak for themselves.
After taking a few workshops at Red Studio in Frederick I have learn what a difference an experienced model can make during a photo shoot!
