I am currently a student at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) and am studying Fashion Design. My experience is mainly with women's wear design and pattern making including experience in lingerie design and construction, accessory design and construction (especially leather), and fur garment/accessory design and construction.
My first collection showed at the SAIC fashion show in April. It featured three looks where I designed and created everything from hats to bags to garments and collaborated on creating and altering footwear. My collection is heavily concept and research based and I use the most sustainable materials and methods possible. Environmentally responsible and sustainable processes/practices are central to my work. I am constantly researching and developing new ways to make my work more sustainable without compromising design possibilities.
I love to collaborate with other designers and artists in my work. I hold myself and others to the utmost standards of quality and expect the same from my peers. I find challenges exciting and inspiring and love to learn new techniques and methods.
I am just starting out and always looking for new opportunities.
Four garments from my collection featured in Dark Beauty Magazine's August Fall Fashion Issue - "Shape Shifter" editorial. Photographed by Stephanie Matthews and styled by Mirey Enverova.
