The greatest feeling is when you can inspire people. I inspired so many kids at a local high school after school program i was running. BOOT CAMP 2012. Every student had tears in their eyes filled with inspiration and motivation after sharing my story. The motivation to live a healthy lifestyle. And I’m here to share my story with you. On December 3rd 2010, I was admitted into the hospital for having a flesh eating disorder known as Mersa/Staph Infection. Weighing 280 pounds I was almost announced dead that day of admittance to ICU. I fought for my life. Being under a quarantine tent and doctors wearing suits for hazardous and contagious reasons can change the mind of a 17 yr old boy. My family wasn't allowed in because how dangerous I was. Two weeks into my visit I picked up a blood clot in both of my legs. Reducing the natural blood flow going to my heart. Which was easier access for the Mursa to reach to my heart. And it did. I was diagnosed with a Micro Cardio Vascular heart disease. I was on a waiting list for a heart and in process for a double leg amputee. WHY ME? It was 3 days before my leg surgery when my pastor at the time made it to a point to come and visit me. Knowing the hazardous circumstances, he reached his hand out and prayed over me. He prayed over me a verse.. My life verse still today. John 12:35. "To keep looking towards the light at the end of that dark tunnel". It was that very next day doctors told me my legs were going to pull through and I would still be able to keep them. And not to forget that the Mersa was starting to clear up. by after the first of the year I was released from the hospital with no trace of the Flesh Eating Disease. But a total loss of 30 pounds complete muscle mass and weighing at 250 pounds. I was a miracle so far. But my heart disease still haunted me and it was mandatory to lose 20 pounds before my next EKG (heart X-ray). So I got in my wheelchair and started working out 6 days a week, twice a day. In April 2011 the results were mailed in. And there was absolutely no more heart disease and I lost the 20 pounds. But why not make a difference in my life and others. I had no insurance. so why not get healthy at a gym? No way was I going back to hell. Why not make my miracle even bigger. High School graduation of 2010 I was Validictorian for my survival. And after that I committed myself to the gym 6 days a week 2 times a day. By Feb 2012 I became certified as a personal trainer for Fitness 19 gym. It was my first client I weighed myself with for her comfortable levels. I weighed 176 pounds.. losing 104 pounds total. Anybody can do what I did. Its believing in yourself. I went from 28% body fate to 6%, it can happen to you! weight loss or bodybuilding! But life isn't about how many times your knocked down.. Its how many times you stand up. Don't find yourself.. Create your self.
If you have accomplished something great in your life, don't let the small stuff get to you. Its only going to get easier from here
My Goal in life is to be successful. To reach and accomplish higher obstacles in life. To be a motivation and inspiration to others.
