I'm an artist working with a variety of 19th century silver-based photographic processes, including ambrotypes (photos on glass) and tintypes (photos on metal). Just like paintings, these are one-of-a-kind objects, and take much longer to expose and process than film or digital. One of my sessions produces only around 8 individual images. That's it. Take a look at my port to get an idea of what this imagery looks like.
I come from a fine art background, with 6 years of art school education; i.e., I'm a certified, "institutionalized" artist. I do exhibit and sell my work.
