About me
I originate from the UK but I've been in the US for over a decade. The acronym in ECP Photography stands for 'Excess Civic Pride' which is a quote from one of my favorite movies.
My passion for photography was triggered at an early age with a basic point & shoot camera and I took delight capturing locations around the world on travels with my family.
As a teen I studied more technical aspects of photography but it wasn't until I relocated to the US for work that I traded up to a DSLR. Excited by the vast improvement and realizing the potential I quickly traded up again to higher spec equipment and began the long road of discovery that is Photoshop.
Over the years I've attended plenty of workshops to hone my skills and meet like minded enthusiasts, which brings me to MM.
I love to photograph people and the challenge of capturing a unique pose/look or the essence of a particular occasion. While I've sold my photography in the past, right now it's more a labor of love and my focus is on building a spectacular, unique, quality portfolio covering a wide spectrum of styles from indoor/outdoor, night/day, portraits, themes, etc.
I'm happy to shoot TFP with models and MUA of all experience levels with the mutual goal of portfolio building. After each shoot I provide edited samples of the best images via email, disc, or flash drive, whichever is most convenient.
