Note:Most of my work can be found here (mainly under the albums, "Me, Myself, & I," and "More of Me, But Never All of Me"):
My nickname is Kay Kay (or simply "K" for short) and I reside in the Los Angeles area. I'm a USC student double-majoring in Communication (emphasis in entertainment and society) and English (track in creative writing). I'm also double minoring in marketing and design.
I'm what many call a "mixed mutt." I'm Hawaiian (Polynesian), Chinese, French, Irish, Maltese (not the dog), and Italian. I have a good amount of experience with the photography medium. Most of my experience comes from the import scene/subculture. However, I'm looking to expand my portfolio, and focus more on creative/artistic projects. I have a passion for experiencing with unique themes, concepts, and various angles. Currently, I am mostly interested in paid gigs. Having said that, I am still interested in collaborating with heavy hitter photographers (if you're a main player, you know who you are). I'm also interested in contacts that think out-of-the-box and have innovative work. Please note, while I'm comfortable with galmour-themed work, I only do implieds with photographers that I've built strong connections with. In other words, please do not message me about shooting nudes or implieds if I've never worked with you before.
It's equally important to note that what I prize in this industry is natural beauty. I think that as a society, we should appreciate and applaud those who value what’s real, instead of that which is artificial. In my portfolio, I am not wearing extensions, I do not have fake breasts (or any other type of plastic surgery for that matter), nor do I have fake eyelashes. I’m often called youthful, and as you can probably see from my photos, I have a thing for glitter (I tend to put glitter tattoos or fake tattoos on my body on a regular basis). My belly button is pierced and I do not have any real tattoos.
Overall, I look forward to working with creative/imaginative minds that seek to capture a fantastical world through their lens. I hope you like my work, and I’m looking forward to hearing from you.
