I am an amateur photographer living near Wantage in the small market town of Faringdon, Oxfordshire, UK.
I was given my first camera when I was eight years old and living in Singapore, and I still have the negatives from my first roll of film. I really got into using a darkroom and using modern 35mm equipment in the 1970s when I was based in Germany with the Royal Air Force.
On my return to the UK from Germany I got involved with the Photographic Club scene in Wales, where the clubs were well supported by the Welsh photographic Federation. It was while I was in this area that I learnt a lot about the technicalities of photography, and was introduced to the pleasures of studio work.
In recent years I have converted to using digital cameras, and the latest in studio lighting equipment. I have also enjoyed working with many new and interesting models that I have been introduced to via the Internet.
These days my main areas of interest are Portraiture, Nude Figure, and more recently Fashion styles of work. I am also interested in helping new models to develop their portfolios.
