I'm an aspiring fashion designer, living in San Bruno and attending school at the Art Institute of California - San Francisco. I've been studying fashion design for several years now and will graduate in Fall 2012. Currently I'm looking for models to wear my pieces so that I may complete photoshoots for my final portfolio as well as network within the industry.
My work spans from menswear to womenswear with a style reminiscent of mod fashion and '80s retro to futuristic and modern. I began designing as an illustrator and soon found myself fascinated by clothing construction and the aspiration to bring my creations to life. I am adept in sewing, draping, patternmaking, and screen printing.
I enjoy the early conceptual stages of fashion design where the mind is most creative and free. I have a good sense of designing a full collection while still maintaining true to the inspirational source as well as the ability to effectively communicate these ideas through my illustrations.
I am a proficient fashion illustrator, having had my work displayed in galleries as well as published. I am skilled in various traditional media such as color pencil, marker, charcoal, and watercolor.
In addition to traditional media, I am also capable of creating detailed technical flats as well as sleek and modern graphic design and presentations with design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Indesign. Other programs I am experienced in include AutoCAD, NedGraphics, and Gerber.
