We have planned a huge body art fashion show at "The Crib" night club in San Francisco the night of June 26th. They are donating the whole front room for us to decorate set up booths and take donations all night with all the money going staright to the AIDS WALK. This date also happens to be national HIV testing day so we will have on site HIV testing right outside the club. Then we will have the fashion show around midnight on the main stage. What we need is models to donate their time the evening and night of the event to come out and walk in the show.
The theme of the event is "The Naked Truth". All the boy models will be wearing nude colored speedos and the girls will all be in nude colored thongs and either a nude colored bra or topless. Your make up artist will be doing full on head to toe body art. So you will be modeling off their work instead of fashion. The whole reason for the nudity is to show that once we are stripped of everything we are all just human and no one is safe from this epidemic. There will be a video projected onto a screen above the runway having people talking about statistics, facts, and real live storys about HIV/AIDS.Each model willl be assigned a fact, statistic, or storyin the video to walk to and your make up artist will turn it into a piece of art that will be reflected on your body. So each model will be a visual interpretation of the story that is being told at that part of the video. The one thing tieing every look together is the color red. Somewhere in your overall look your hair and makeup team will have to include the color red. There will also be a photo shoot up stairs before the show starts so that everyone involved will get a cd with pictures of their work to add to their portfolios.
We are looking for 15 to 20 models an even mix of boys are girls.We will be holding an open call audition in San Francisco on Thursday June 5th at The Drake Hotel 450 Powell Street San Francisco, CA 94102 from 12-3pm. The hotel is right outside the Powell street muni and bart station stop. At the audition we will need to see the male models walk in speedos or shorts close to the same style and female models walk in a bikini or clothing close to the same style.There will not be a place to change into your bikini or speedo so please wear them under your clothes. Females will not be asked to walk topless at the audition but will be asked if they will be willing to walk topless in the show. Those willing to walk topless in the show will be cast soon then those not willing to but those not willing to will not be cut just for that reason. You will recieve more information about dates and times of the show and a full cast meeting before the event at the casting call! Bring a resume and head shot if you have one if not we will have you fill out paper work and take a head shot at the casting.
