I am a professional camera repair technician, having been trained in the Nikon factory, Canon repair facility, and locally here in the Ricoh repair facility. I have 30+ years of experience in this field. You might say I am the make-up artist for your camera. I own my own shop in Sparks, and have a large clientele locally, as well as nationally. I am referenced on various websites, including Ken Rockwell's, for being the "go to" tech for issues with the iconic Canon T90.

I was an avid photographer decades ago, and then diverted my energies into the science and repair of analog and digital cameras. The photos in my portfolio are scans from slides that were captured decades ago, while I was still in the military, serving as an aviation mechanic. In the last five years my interest in photography has been rekindled and, having learned most of what there is to know about the workings of small format cameras, I now am on a path to master the craft of taking any kind of photograph I can imagine. Several of the numerous photographers who frequent my shop have mentioned Model Mayhem in a favorable way. I checked it out a little, and it is obvious to me that I can learn alot about lighting, sets, and various tricks of the trade from the massively talented shooters I have seen the work of, in MM.
