About me
Hi, I’m John Ridings. A Smyrna, Georgia native with over 25 years experience in photography. I am an active member in the South Cobb Arts Alliance. I have also had my work displayed in several galleries around metro Atlanta including: The Mable House, The Green Room inside Mable House Amphitheater, and South Cobb Hospital. Head shots are my specialty and I love capturing the beauty of the Human face. I also shoot Families, School groups, fashion, Lifestyle and any and all your photography needs.
For me, photography is not as much of a job, as it is a passion that makes me incredibly happy. Anytime I have a camera in my hand, I am enjoying myself and I believe that shows in how I interact with my clients. I simply want to create images that emotionally move you. Capturing the true essence of a person through my images is the goal with every shoot. I strive to create images that look natural and unscripted as well as modern yet timeless. To me photography is an art. I love having the ability to capture a moment in time that will last forever.
I have a unique way of seeing the beauty in the world around me and am able to capture that in my photography.

The ones you replay in your mind over and over. Life is precious and fast. In todays world, our memories are easily forgotten and replaced.
