Brett Moffatt

I am a figurative realist artist working in various genres including:oil painting, drawing, photography and make-up. My work has been exhibited nationally and internationally in New York and Japan and I have done the portraits of many high profile figures in Australia including Natalie Gruzlewski and Erin McNaught. I much prefer to create my own compositions working with models, sometimes clothed, sometimes nude depending on the theme. I like to paint and draw from life but also use photography and am a professional make-up artist, graphic artist and teacher.

I am looking to work with models who can pose for paintings, photographs and drawings. Prior to photographing I spend a lot of time planning what I want to achieve and feel I can offer models something very unique and of a high quality for their portfolios. I always endeavour to make the working experience rewarding and worthwhile, so am happy to negotiate remuneration. I have also done a lot of retouching for glamour magazine/brochure images, so please feel free to message me if you're after some retouching done on your images.
