Mayhem # 287531
I'm currently collaborating with male & female models, muah artists, tattooed/inked men & women, tattoo artists, tattoo shop owners, swimwear and lingerie designers for multi page/photo magazine features.
We are not paid in money, but rather multiple page/photo features with full contact information, links to websites, and a questionnaire that serves as a biography about you, your company & what service you provide. This is free advertising for those looking to market, advertise and promote their business. Potential clients can access and book you directly from the magazines digital format.
Since 2011, I've shot dozens of features and had my own photographer feature run monthly. All models, muah artists and designers are credited in the features of others. It is entirely possible to accumulate dozens of tear sheets from one shoot! Check out my casting calls for more info and contact me to discuss.
Full schedule in the galleries section at: http://www.mmlphoto.com
I'm not on modelmayhem to collect friends. If you've worked with me or I know you from previous communication, I might add you. Simply commenting, tagging or sending one message doesn't mean I will add you. I prefer to keep my friends list to those I actually know. Thanks for understanding. :-)

Anything else, just ask. :-)
When contacting me please provide a telephone number, so that if a last minute change comes up, we can get in touch with each other. Also if we're working with wardrobe (swimwear, lingerie,...etc.), they will want to call you in for a fitting.

NOW for a little fun,
"I'm only on modelmayhem for professional reasons". Wow, so glad you pointed that out! I could have easily thought you were here for other reasons!! I mean sheesh, this is a modeling site, so REALLY glad you're here for that reason. As a plumber, I don't know that you'll get much work? :-P
"I don't shoot nudes, so don't ask"! Whew! me neither (shoot while in the nude)! I heard about this photographer, who took one in the groin when his tripod fell over. Oh man, I don't want that happening to me. Oh and I guess being polite and saying "no thanks" when you do get a message about those opportunities, would show you have a good attitude and by being upfront and sounding somewhat rude, you're telling us you have a bad attitude? Well, thanks for that! I know not to contact you! :-D
"I'll trade, only if it's a guaranteed tear sheet". Just want to clarify with anyone here, there is NO SUCH THING. If a photographer is saying that to you? he/she is doing so without the editors approval. No editor in his/her right mind will guarantee something they have not seen the results for. They need to see the images from the shoot, prior to deciding what will make the issue or not. (guaranteed tear sheeets) That would be like saying, "Mr. Louder, I guarantee you don't have cancer"....without having an exam. It just doesn't happen.
"I'm only doing paid work right now....unless I think your work is good enough". lmao, so now you're deciding that you're better than others and "IF" they measure up to your standards, then you'll let them shoot you for published opportunities or modeling jobs that pay in tear sheets, byline credit and magazine features. haha. Again, thanks for showing your attitude and letting those of us who are reviewing your profile, that you think you deserve only PAID work. FYI, even established models work on trade, no matter how long they've been modeling. It gets them published, updates their book and gives them exposure/advertising.
"I will travel, if all expenses are paid". Hahaha, wouldn't we all. There is a reason the professional models live in NYC, L.A., Miami...that's where the work is and most clients are not going to pay you to travel, when you're an unknown, are not signed to a modeling agency contract and have no real modeling experience.

"Mikel is a skilled, polite, and patient photographer. I worked with him while I was just an amateur model, and he still managed to get what he was looking for and add it to a digital magazine. Between his skill and his sense of humor, Mikel is a great guy to work with, and a p...erson any aspiring or professional WA model should get a chance to work with." more less
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^Regarding Credits^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I have an additional dozen (12) that are pending. Mostly they are modelmayhem members, who are no longer active, but don't take down their profile.

I do travel when hired by a client, including regular trips to Bellevue in the Seattle area. When working in the Seattle area, I am available in various parts of the city and not limited to one part of town or another. Valid passport with no restrictions for international travel and don't mind the drive up to Vancouver B.C..
For those interested in "trades" of services, here is the link to my resume'. If you can match what I've done since 2011, feel free to contact me.
If you're interested only in paid work, then that would come from a client and they make those choices on compensation and what the rate is they are willing to pay. I do sometimes have input on whom they select, but my suggestions would ONLY be of people that I have worked with previously. No exceptions.
