Dana Baker Hopson, is a Plus Size Model, Brand Ambassador and Body Positive Advocate. She was born and raised in Franklin, Kentucky, a small town country girl who always loved to play dress up in her grandmothers clothing. Since youth, Dana dreamed of being a model after her grandmother signed her up to walk in their church’s African Fashion Runway Show. Her dream started to became more of a reality back in 2012 after given the opportunity to travel the nation with her husband Dawan Hopson aka “KY BOY (opening act) of the world famous rap group “Nappy Roots” as a promotional model. She also work promotional events for muiltple hiphop artists in the game and country singer Mart Brown. Once the tour life was over Dana started freelancing as a model around 2014 for local businesses, designers, and photographers. It wasn't until 2016 when Dana became an overnight international model as she became The Face of the Passionista Apparel brand after winning an international modeling contest. She was able to travel to the U.S. Virgin Islands for the first time ever to meet with the body positive company and participated in a 4 Day photoshoot of a lifetime for their website and campaigns.

As modeling started to became the new norm, she used her platform to spread a body positive message and inspire other women to follow their dreams and be confident in themselves, regardless of their shape, size, weight, height, race, skin color, etc. and became a voice of empowerment for those reluctant to pursue their dreams or those letting any factor hold them back in life. She created the “Throwing You Something Thursday” giveaways on her social media platforms as a way to give back and promote her message.

In early 2018 Dana landed her ultimate dream job of being a fit model for major brand “Fruit of the Loom.” She has since worked for a number of other companies including Vanity Fair, MAC Duggal, Russell Brands, & Adryss Body Magic Garmet. She also has walked for Curve Nation Expo, Derby City Fashion Week, Curve Appeal, Raw Nashville, The Southern Women’s Show, & Bridal Expo Tours. Dana has other honors such as starring in major music videos, being published in many magazines, and was even named the 2014 Top Model of the Miss Kentucky Plus America Pageant.
