My name’s Liana Marie and I am a photographer from Central Pennsylvania. After friends upon friends constantly strongly suggesting it to me, I finally decided to become a member of Model Mayhem. I have a strong passion for alternative modeling--Models covered in modifications i.e. Tattoos and piercings. Ultimately a few of my goals are to be hired as a photographer for a well known and respected tattoo magazine, or a music promotional magazine or record label. I also have a strong passion for High Fashion, and could potentially see myself pursuing a career in that as well.
I started out, just another kid in a concert crowd. I’ve had some rough patches in my childhood that really had an impact on my life. During these challenges, I found myself at just about every local show in town–Front row and center with my little point and shoot camera. This became my way of coping, my solution to a temporary escape from reality. Since then, I’ve upgraded equipment, gone to school, and all around, taken my photography to a whole new level. No longer was it just a passion, it became a profession; it became my life. Although a majority of my work consists of live and promotional music photography I also have an interest in Fashion, documentary and live event photography. I was once asked to describe the passion I have for what I do and there is no better way for me to describe it than this; ”The moment my hand and my camera become acquainted my troubles slowly begin to fade away. Suddenly the rest of the world becomes silenced, and I know that I am here to do this.
