I'm currently bouncing back and forth between Koh Samui, Thailand and Brisbane, Australia.  I'll be here and there in other Asian locations too so if you are about Asia and want to work drop me a line, I might even fly you to Samui if I like your look and you aren't in a country too far away...

Although I'm a professional shooter these days with my collaborative model work I'm not looking to make money so much as create some beautiful work we can both be proud of.

The genre I normally work in is what I like to call fashiony nudes - artistic fashion styled images but based around nude and semi nude themes.  A mate of mine once said "fashion photography is so much better without the fashion" and this is pretty much what I do, not that I agree it's necessarily better so much as it is just fun.  I appreciate the human form and am looking to capture it in a way that shows it as a work of beauty and art but I also love the STYLE of fashion imagery.

I don't like shooting to strict shoot briefs but rather prefer to have fun with ideas and concepts and experiment.  If there are any designers out there who would like to collaborate then by all means drop a line, just because I normally shoot fashion without the fashion it doesn't mean that's all I'll shoot.  However I'll be looking for the clothing to be something different and eye catching.

For models interested in TFP, yes I do shoot it on occasion.  Usually though there are some restrictions / conditions:

#1  I'm generally happy to shoot something you want in exchange for something I want.  By and large I'm not that interested in plain fashion/beauty work so unless you are able to provide some amazing wardrobe / location / props etc I'm unlikely to agree to a shoot where all we do is regular fashion or beauty work (you can of course hire me for this though).  My passion with photography is, as already stated, exploring the cross over points between fashion and artistic nudes so if you are prepared to push the boundaries into this genre and I like your look then I'm more than happy to help you out with regular folio stuff in return.

#2 I require a full model release signed, this is non-negotiable.

#3 I never hand out CDs with all the shots from the shoot on.  Rather what I'll do is go through the shoot merticulously and pick out the best shots to edit up.  You'll receive the best handful of shots from the shoot fully edited in both web and full res.  Generally you should expect a few shots from each look, more if the look works particularly well.

If you are interested in Photography / Photoshop training I am looking to move into this area too.  Rather than do workshops however I'd rather work with you in a one on one format.  This way I can work with each person individually to help them out with the specific areas they are interested in improving.  Once again please message for more info, rates etc
