Been doing photography on an amateur level for some time now. Mostly landscape/nature type stuff. Have tried my hand at capturing light/shadows on the figure and it was a lot of fun for both myself and the model. As I am perusing this site and see so much talent, it's almost intimidating. But inspiring in the same breath. I also see it is the understanding that practice is where it's at. A feeling that fuels me and so I keep exploring and pushing forward. I shoot because I love looking through the camera and creating an image. Additionally, I find the communication that exists in creativity fascinating.

I have ideas and continue to try and see what works. Some work, some don't. I find myself constantly going back to the drawing board for ideas and I love it. If you have any thoughts as well, I'm all ears(and eyes). I am ideally looking to find people with which I can collaborate creatively.

Additionally, I have been teaching myself to draw a little as well. And I completely believe in the theory that an artist, to gain a good perspective, should try their hand at posing. I agree and so leave myself open to pose for any good photographers/artist. BTW, there's a few pics of me in my port
