Joe Drivas is a digital consultant, educator, and a commercial photographer residing in Central Florida. He has been working digitally since 1992, and shooting commercially for the past 35 years. His work is represented and licensed worldwide through Getty Images / Iconica, and Photographer's Choice.
Joe’s conceptual images have been used worldwide by a multitude of clients ranging from publishers, pharmaceutical companies, industrial companies, the recording industry, health care companies, the motion picture industry, and most notably for NASA’s Kennedy Space Center Visitor’s Complex. There, an eleven by fifty-three foot mural depicting space flight and exploration is on display.
His work has been published worldwide, in numerous magazines including: Digital Imaging, Shutterbug, Petersen’s Photographic, The Commercial Image, Photographic Processing, Nikon World and Studio Photography. Joe Drivas has been a product promoter for numerous software, hardware, and camera companies such as Colorbyte Software, Contax, Digital Anarchy, DXO Labs, Epson, Eizo for their CG21 LCD display, Firmtek, Gretag Macbeth, Hasselblad / Imacon, Nik Software, and Wacom.
He is currently promoting and using high end virtual drum scanners, digital backs, and H3D camera systems from Hasselblad.
Joe is currently shooting, lifestyles, portraits and technology, as well as consulting with various companies, fellow artists and friends wishing to venture into the digital world. He is also planning to offer personalized training in all aspects of digital imaging at his studio.
