I love visual art.
Artistic nudes, weathered wood, leather and rust, anything black and white, cowboy stuff, horses, old trucks, cool motorcycles, New England, the south west, and a beautiful woman smiling right into my lens.
I am looking for models who share my interests, so we can explore together.
I do love to play with light and shadow and the female form. I love to work outdoors on the farm where I live. Tractors, hay bales, girls in cowboy hats and some cool old boots.
I have a perfect venue for these kinds of shoots...
See it at www.thespirithorsefarm.com
We have vintage trucks, tractors, horses, peacocks, doves, a killer full sized teepee with a fire pit inside, gardens, a full quality gym, swimming pool, and of course, the barn, which is furnished in sumptuous leather, hides, and an incredible assortment of props, from guitars to bars and pool tables and much, much more. The light is great and the atmosphere can't be beat, no matter what you are interested in shooting.
I also own IRON HORSE CUSTOMS, a great motorcycle shop in Kent. I enjoy shooting there as well. You can take a look at IRONHORSECUSTOMSKENTCT. on facebook. If you can pull off a bad ass biker chick, let's get together!!
Please note though that I have other enterprises to pay my bills. So, please, when we agree to set aside time for a shoot, come, or cancel early the day before. I love to shoot and promise not to be in a hurry, but I am perhaps one of the busiest people you will ever meet, and my time to shoot is always made by canceling some other plan, meeting, farm chores, desk work or any number of other responsibilities...So please...Ok?
When I set up for a shoot, I spend hours sometimes, lighting fires in the barn, brushing the horses, creating a working backdrop, moving trucks or tractors, washing Harleys, or whatever else is needed. When the model doesn't show... well, it just takes the the fun out!
I just opened up a new portrait studio in Kent. I am practicing studio quality lighting in portraiture and artistic nudes. Hoping to get some new faces in to sit by the baby grand piano, pose in the portrait station, or in the soft window light coming in off the river. As always, the farm is still a great option for outdoor shots, day or night.
Looking forward to working with you soon!
