About me
I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay area. I was a film student who aspired to work as an animator in the Los Angeles, who found joy in the little nuances of life, the things that people didn’t pay much attention to. I’m a self taught photographer with a vision for traditional photography. I discovered this talent on a cruise to the Caribbean in 2003, and I enjoy presenting images in their rawest form, untouched by any post production software living by the mantra “what you see is what you get” This philosophy has earned me the respect of his clients and fellow photographers in the Bay Area. For the last 3 years I have and continue to study some of the great photographers of his time and before, Gordon Parks, Lorna Simpson, Howard Bingham, Annie Leibovitz, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Norman-Jean Roy, Peggy Sirorta, Richard Avedon and Mark Seliger to name a few. I continue to study how the great photographers did it back when there was as much photo editing as there is today. Their work continually inspires me to “do it better than the last time”. I have had three photo gallery showings, some corporate accounts, which include Pacific outfitters, CB draw, CB real estate, and worked with a number of models, both professional and amateur. I am currently working on some exhibition work for an upcoming book project in 2011. Some longer term aspirations are Fashion, Glamour, Runway, and Lifestyle photography, producing coffee table size photo documentary style books, and having traveling exhibitions the can be viewed around the country to encourage people in all areas and stages in their lives. I’m looking forward to networking, working with people and meeting professional individuals who have a vision for their craft. I’m always seeking models, designers, stylists and other professionals who want to collaborate and who need help building their portfolio or need a photographer for their assignment. I look forward to meeting you, thanks for reading. Enjoy Life!
