I am a fine art photographer, predominately shooting on B/W film and printing traditionally on fiber paper in a traditional wet darkroom. I studied in Sydney at Point Light with Gordon Undy, graduating from his mentor program in 2002. For the last 5 years I have been primarily photographing The Gyuto Monks of Tibet both in their monastery in Dharamsala and in a series of portraiture shoots in my studio in Surry Hills resulting in 2 solo shows at The Bondi Pavilion Art Gallery in 2010 and 2012 and photographing His Holiness the Dalai Lama on his 2009 visit to Australia.
Last October (2012) Gordon Undy and myself enabled American photographer Ralph Gibson to come Australia for a series of workshops, lectures and an exhibition of his work from the last 50 years. From participating in his workshops I feel in love with photographing the female nude. So now, with caring for my family of 2 young boys, my husband and our dog Kate, I am currently working on images of the female nude for an exhibition in Sydney in August this year (2013).
