Born in Harlem, NY, Kes was adopted by a young power couple
making life work together by any means neccessary. She along with her
siblings were then moved to South Carolina where they were at first
shocked by the change of pace and later immersed themselves in what
culture the city had to offer. When asked to describe herself she said
simply this: "Outgoing and rough around the edges." Her greatest
influences are author Frank Herbert, poet Khalil Gibran and
actress/director Angelina Jolie. She is a strong believer in the
sharing of the abundance of the land and the attainment of power
through knowledge. "Being a model does not solely mean being a
clotheshanger for the designer or the selling of a physical product.
It is about acquiring all the skills that I am able to handle and then
sharing my understanding of the world with my peers. It is being
honest with myself- being a passionate person first. That is how to be
a Model figure. I don't want to influence my friends to do what I'm
doing, I want to inspire them to follow their own path in what makes
them happy." She is currently working on a book that would encourage
teens to find the path within, along with her many endeavors including starring in,
Designing and directing for photoshoots and videos, she has attended Paul Mitchell The School so that she may continue to practice on the road to becoming a multiple business owner. She also recently has become a member of the National Guild of Hypnotists. When asked about her aspirations she
said she wanted "to serve her people, to take the light from herself
and shine it on people who could use it more." By the
time she is forty she would like to lead seminars on how to be a
"Model Citizen".
