About me

If you are taking the time to read this, I thank you! Trying to decide what to put in your profile isn’t always easy. You make it strictly business and you sound arrogant or no one will want to work with you. If you make it too personal, you sound like you are amateur or on Facebook. So to avoid that I will just be honest and leave it to those that read this and are open minded, creative and interested in working with me to decide. I am not on here to beg anyone to shoot.

I have been a Photographer for a long time. I have had clients ranging from commercial work, weddings, to modeling portfolios, and even boudoir shoots that people want for the ones they love. I have watched people celebrate birth, life, love and loss all through my cameras lens. I have laughed with people and even shared the tears with some. While there have been way to many to ever list, I am grateful to every one of the people that have appeared before my camera, come to my studio and opened themselves to my camera.

I am no saint, I just believe in treating people the best I am able to. What does this mean? Am I saying I get it right every time? No! But I make an honest effort to say what I mean and when I say I will do something, I do it. I know this may shock some, but yes I like beautiful, interesting, creative women. I love to see the smiles on their faces as we shoot or they look at our images and they are happy with what they see! I won’t apologize for enjoying people.

In September of 2010 much to my surprise I had a stroke, which left me legally blind. “But wait if he is legally blind, how can he shoot?” Fortunately I still have some limited vision and because I know my camera well I am able to shoot. I am shooting on a limited basis. I can’t just give up on what I love!

I am not here for pity; I am not here looking for a date or sex. You don’t need to call me Mr. Brian is fine! I shoot Fashion, Glamour, Art nudes and occasionally lingerie. I will be honest about what I want to shoot and ask that you are honest about what you will model. I do retouch images if needed and I don’t over Photoshop anyone just to follow an online trend. I am a Photographer. My tools are a camera, lights, equipment and an imagination. I know it seems old fashioned in these times, but I like people!

If you want to model, and you want to work with a photographer, please write. If you want to be told you are “hot” and be drooled over, there are plenty on MM that will jump right on the chance to do so. I hope you all Find what you seek!

To the Photographers, models and friends that have been continually supportive of me as I make a come back from the stroke, my sincerest thank you!

" Brian was really awesome to work with. Super laid back, calm, easy going, respectful and verbally very delicate and very swell at making sure your comfortable and not doing anything your uncomfortable doing. "

"I shot with Brian not too long ago and he was fantastic! He took the time to make sure the lighting, my outfits, my hair; everything that was in the shot was perfect. He made the set feel very chill along with predictive, respectable, and professional at all times.
I always bring an escort of some sort to my shoots witch I forgot to run by Brian. But he was understanding and had no issue with it. He informed me that he prefers when models bring someone with them. The model feels more comfortable which makes for a better shoot and images.
Everyone likes to work with appreciably people and he is! I was talking to him and his assistant like I’ve known them forever. He also provided a spacious changing room for me. It was completed with a mirror, table/chars, and refreshments. It made me feel like I was a person to him not simply a model. He even asked me to text him when I got home to make sure we didn’t lose our way. (Kind of like in a fatherly way)
One other thing that I really appreciated about Brian was that he let me put my two senses in which you don’t come by to often. He was kind enough to show me a good amount of the raw images on his camera before leaving. I have been receiving edited stills almost every night since, which I am pleased with.
I hope to shoot with him again and strongly recommend shooting with Brian!"

"I first worked with Brian nearly 4 years ago. He was not only professional, sensible, and laid back; but he also made my session a fun learning experience. He provided me with tips to better my photo shooting experience which I still apply to all my shoots today.

I have had the privilege in working with him several times since then. Each time we create something unique and I am given the opportunity to better advance myself as a model.

He communicates well before, during, and after the shoot, has an eye art (which shows in his work), and provides you with a great experience! Looking forward to what we create next!

"Brian was absolutely wonderful to work with. Always willing to make a concept happen, he went above and beyond every time we shot. He was always professional and got great images back to me in a timely manner! Totally recommend him! Email me any time for a more thorough reference! Peggy Vee, MM#2759

Thanks so much for making my trip to Michigan a success! I had a blast shooting with you. I cannot wait to see the pictures. Your professional and go-getter attitude made the shoot run much smoother and the comfortability zone was almost immediate. Thanks again!
Much love,

Brian was definitely a pleasure to work with. I felt comfortable right upon meeting him. He was respectful and professional  and was great at throwing out creative ideas and giving direction. As a model, I am always more comfortable when given some kind of direction as to what the photographer wants. He took great images and I was very pleased with the finished products. I will definitely work with him again and encourage any other interested models to do the same.  DEE   MM#153738
