About MeI am a costume designer and cosplayer based in Los Angeles, CA. Since starting cosplay in July 2012, I have constructed a wide array of costumes based on comics, film, television, and animation. I am interested in working with new photographers who have an interest in popular culture and want to experiment with interesting and unique ideas. You can see more of my work via my official website or my Facebook page (ConstantineCosplay).
What you can expect from my costumes: They are always cleanly constructed and complete. While costumes can be a little more tricky to work with/move in than regular clothing (due to the fact that artwork usually ignores things like 'physics'), they are well-made and accurate. I don't shoot costumes that look cheesy or poorly made. Whether or not I can always easily walk in them is another story. =) Wigs are used 99.999% of the time.
Here are a few things about me:
I don't consider myself a model, I consider myself a costumer/cosplayer. Ultimately, what this means is I'm not interested in modeling as a career or to get paid, but as a way to work on projects that I find interesting.
For cosplay, both studio and location shoots work well. If you have a studio, that's a great, clean way to showcase costumes. If you want me to hike 7 miles into a canyon or swim around in a cave, even better. I also have years of rock climbing experience; if you can find a way to integrate that into a shoot, then I'll ask you to marry me.
I'm interested in collaboration, as in shared rights to images. I will want to receive high resolution copies of the photographs and I hope we'll be able to work together in selecting the best images (and the ones to discard).
As far as editing/retouching is concerned, I only ever expect simple color correction and perhaps light retouching (if/when necessary). If you're interested in more intensive photo-manipulation, then I'm all ears too. I'm not here to mess up your work with crappy photoshop.
I always credit photographers and include links back to whatever site you want. If you're concerned about watermarking, then let's just work together and develop a system that we are both happy with.
I occasionally like to plan group photoshoots with other costumers I know and would love to find photographers interested in group photoshoots.
