My Ship and The Saga of Jenny by Weil, The Man I love by Gershwin, From This Moment On by Porter, and Wishing you Were Somehow Here Again from Phantom of the Opera. Also sings pop and Patsy Cline selections. Education; Junior at SUNY Cortland; Musical Theater Major. Study includes acting, singing and dance. Performing in Cortland’s recent production of the musical Sweeney Todd as the Beggar Woman. Guys and Dolls as MiMi. The premier new musical Luna Park as the MoonGoddess, fall 08. As a Nurse, Slut and DJ in TOMMY, spring 08. Concert Version of Children of Eden as Eve, spring 08. Thoroughly Modern Millie as Gloria, fall 07. A Little Night Music and Sweet Charity worked in costumes. Schoolgirl in The Mikado Spring 06.
Drama Preparation and Experience; Summer 07; Director and Acting teacher for a Summer Youth Theater program for the Highlight Theater Company. Wrote a children’s skit called “The Barbie Skit”. Summer 06; Mac-Hayden Theater Chatham NY. Intern under contract for five musicals including: South Pacific (nurse), Fiddler on the Roof (daughter), Funny Girl (tap dancer and village person), CATS (Macavity’s assistant and Tap dancing Cockroach), Guys and Dolls (Martha), and three children’s theater productions in Cinderella (Fairy Godmother), Jack and the Beanstalk (Cook), and Puss ‘n Boots (Aunt Ignasia). Summer 2005, Ft. Salem Theater summer stock. Courtesan in "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum", a daughter and young girl Lily in "Quilters," and Dainty June in "Gypsy". Spring 2005, Role of Janine in the upcoming Independent Film "The Last Round" Fountainhead Pictures. An intern w/NYS Theater Institute. At NYSTI participated in many acting skills classes; combat techniques, circus skills, voice. In addition, all interns had an acting class with Lorraine Serabian. Worked as part of the educational area where I visited area high schools to promote NYSTI and the upcoming events. During daytime school performances, I seated the house and was the liaison for them answering questions. Worked in props, scenery, and was Assistant to Stage Carpenter/Flyman in NYSTI’s production of Man of La Mancha directed by Patricia Birch. Understudied as Mrs. Shelley in NYSTI’s production of The Secret Garden directed by Tereza Andersson and worked special lighting for set. NYSTI Summer Session 03, production of Alice Blue Alice (Cheshire Cat), Hoosick Falls Central School; Anita in West Side Story May 04, Lady Thiang in The King and I, May 03, Annie JR (2x), once as Duffy, the other the Star to Be, Ensemble roles in A Christmas Carol, Little Shop of Horrors. Opera: Amahl and The Night Visitors, 2002 and 2003. First as Amahl at Hubbard Hall, then the dancer for You Gotta Hear This! Singing Experiences; NYS Junior Miss competition, March 05 - Talent Award (sang; O mio babbino caro) First Night Saratoga, December 04-08 Sang as a "Window Performer". Sang classical and Mus. Theater Bennington County Choral Society Contest, May 04, won prize for singing, and Art Murphy Voice Award First Night Saratoga 03, Teenage Barn sponsored by Channel 6; sang two songs, two sets at City Center Bennington County Choral Society - Christmas Concert Bennington VT December 03 United Sisters of NY contest, placed first w/prize for O mio babbino caro by Puccini. Talent Show; Berne NY Finalist at NYS Fair Wegman’s Talent Search, September 03 Laudate Dominum from Mozart’s Vesperae Solennes De Confessore; Ordination Mass for local priest, Hoosick Laudate Dominum again at the First Congregation Church, Williamstown, MA May 02 Bennington Choral Society; Chicester Psalms; solo quartet April 02.
Dance Preparation and Experience; Began ballet at age 3 with Miss Olivia in Hoosick Falls, Berkshire Dance Theater age 6-13, ballet, jazz, tap, and modern. Auditioned and performed in The Nutcracker 2x Berkshire Ballet; once as a Mother Ginger Child, once as a Party Child in the first act. The Red Barn (Hubbard Hall) for 3 years, ballet, pointe, and modern. Olivia’s British School of Ballet on pointe. SUNY Cortland PAI Performance of The Nutcracker 06 & 08.
