Whose photo is it?
International and Federal law stipulates that the photographer is the sole owner of the copyright for his work the second the photo is taken.
As a model, whether you've paid or done a TFP, you are granted the rights for a specific or broad usage of these photos, as defined by contract or a model release. There's no joint copyright ownership unless it has been agreed upon by the photographer, or if he conceides his rights in a buy-out.
Model Release: A MUST ! It's just how it's done. Saves lots of headaches later. In addition you will also be asked to sign and agree to not do your own photoshop training on any photos. Disregarding this will result in me banning you from future shoots, and requested to remove images from site.
Images on CD
I do not give out cd's of un-edited images from shoots.
what i do is, providing there is enough time after a shoot with me, i will allow you to sit and select your images to have re-touched as per my agreement. there will be times when this will not be a option and i will do the selecting. such cases are:
more than one model is being shot at the same time. (group shoot, workshop, etc).
Image delivery
I deliver all finnished images via my website or email.
images can be password protected or left open for the world to see, your option.
