An inquisitive mind, an insatiable obsession, and a million little fibres woven into yards of spectacular textiles – thus, the recipe for either complete disaster, or marvellous creations of elegant dresses and glamorous gowns.
A celebrated humanist once put the ratio of passion-to-reason bestowed in man at 24-to-1. That is approximately the ratio of time I spend making dresses versus that spent searching for something my mother refers to as gainful employment.
Dressmaking is my passion. From cocktail dresses to evening gowns, from prom dresses to office attire, I have diligently obsessed over the production of them all.
In fact, to consistently feed my fixation (and delight my dear mother to no end), I have decided to make one dress every week. From scratch. My trials and tribulations are posted on adressaweek.com.
Perpetually seeking opportunities, I look forward to working with other creative talents, to unleash on the world artworks of extraordinary wonder and beauty.
