‘I model…therefore I am’ – Descartes…well, sort of.
Just returned home after a very beneficial year off travelling the globe, and am chomping at the bit to get back in front of a camera.
My goal for this year is to continue to diversify and expand my portfolio of work, and to continue to learn and grow as a model. I would also like to further build great working relationships with all the talented people I am lucky enough to meet.
I am particularly keen to work on the following this year:
- Fetish work
- Avant-garde/surrealist projects
- High impact, highly stylised images – working with a creative tog, mua and/or stylist to create something in the same sort of vein as 666 Photography, Lithium Picnic, David LaChapelle, Gregory Crewdson etc, etc.
- High fashion/Haute couture/glamour work, including work with clothing companies etc
- Theme/Concept shoots - anything goes!
Style = My look lends itself to a variety of styles – alternative, fashion, pinup, fetish, glamour, artistic, etc. Just ask if you’re after a particular style and i'll see what i can do.
TFCD/TFC = Oooh yes please! I also am happy to accept payment in clothes ;-)
Travel = I’m more than happy to travel as long as a train goes to where you are, so no worries there! If its quite far, I do appreciate travel expenses recouped if possible.
Hair/Makeup = I can do both of these to a good standard, although I do thoroughly enjoy, where possible, working with MUAs and Stylists.
Nudity (i.e. art nudes etc) = Will be considered depending on the project, and on the basis of previous work. However I do not, and never will, shoot porn. Otherwise i will work to implied.
Other skills and interesting facts = I trained at the Wellington (NZ) Performing Arts College in Screen Acting, Improvisation and Singing so i'm a pretty creative person. I learnt to swing dance, learning the Charleston, Lindy Hop and Big Apple. I also did Muay Thai Kickboxing for five years which always comes in handy...;-)
I am never late (unless out of my control), never cancel (unless sick and/or dying – in which case, I don’t think you’d want me anyway!), and I always bring tons of ideas to shoots, however weird and wonderful they may be. Get in touch to find out more!

Comments from some of the lovely people who have worked with me...and survived:
'Working with Lara was both fun and productive. She is very professional and absolutely great as a model. Her attitude is one that shines on camera and it was an honour to be a part of her work' ~ Tara Trash
